Job Title: Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Orion Electrotech. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our plant machinery and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform reactive and planned maintenance on plant machinery and equipment, including packaging machinery, mills, conveyors, motors, sensors, relays, and invertors.
  • Ensure all maintenance is carried out using our CMMS system correctly.
  • Assist with electrical installations and equipment upgrades as required.
  • Support the site's operational excellence through a proactive and hands-on approach.
  • Maintain health and safety standards, ensuring minimal downtime of equipment.
Requirements:
  • NVQ in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience in a heavy industrial plant environment.
  • PPM's, reactive maintenance, and continuous improvement.
  • Experience with the maintenance of heavy industrial plant machinery and equipment.
  • Multi-skilled background, ideally 50/50 mechanical and electrical.
  • Industry experience in food, feed, beverage, automotive, or volume manufacturing.
  • Previous experience with PPM and CMMS systems.
Benefits:
  • Competitive salary up to £45,000.00 DOE.
  • 30 days holiday + Christmas, Boxing Day, and New Year's Day off.
  • Competitive overtime rates (1.5x on Saturdays, 2x on Sundays).
  • Flexible working hours with an 8-hour shift between 7:30 am and 4:30 pm.

Monday – Friday 07:30 – 16:30
