Restaurant Service Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef de Rang to join our team at Harrods. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our discerning customers.
Key Responsibilities- Work closely with the Supervisors and Restaurant Management team to train and develop the waiting team, drive sales and service excellence.
- Set up and clear tables prior to, during, and after service, ensuring the highest standards are maintained.
- Ensure your station and the restaurant run smoothly, maintaining Harrods' high standards of quality, service, and maximizing productivity.
- Convey the Georgian story to customers throughout the dining experience.
- Adhere to opening and closing checklists, revising and updating them with the Supervisors to ensure they are relevant and standards are always at the highest level.
- Display good attention to detail, evident through floor mis-en-place, checklists, and sufficient stock levels.
You are an excellent communicator and motivator, able to lead your colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the operation, maintaining company standards at all times. You have experience in a similar role, such as a senior waiter or waitress position, and have skills in greeting customers, following cash handling procedures, and working efficiently and effectively with minimum supervision.
You possess excellent organizational skills, customer service focus, and the ability to work at pace while remaining calm and self-assured at all times. You have great storytelling abilities, capable of bringing the brand's story and magic to life for customers throughout the dining experience. Additionally, you have a comprehensive knowledge of the restaurant menu and allergens, as well as a good understanding of any specials promotions.
