British American Tobacco is seeking highly motivated and talented students to join our Research and Development function as an Undergraduate Intern - Science Plans & Claims. This exciting opportunity is perfect for students pursuing a degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related field.

About the Role

As an Undergraduate Intern, you will be responsible for supporting the scientific testing of New Category products, delivering key science activities and projects within the Science Plans & Claims team, and critically reviewing existing knowledge to develop robust scientific studies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the scientific testing of New Category products to understand key toxicant questions
  • Deliver key science activities and projects within the Science Plans & Claims team
  • Critically review existing knowledge and develop the capability of designing and conducting robust scientific studies
  • Support the delivery of technical reviews, focused on key outcomes and recommendations, in a fast-paced development environment
