About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Chef de Partie to join our culinary team at ISS. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading daily operations and collaborating closely with our service team to deliver exceptional dining experiences at our campus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development and implementation of the campus food strategy
  • Organize and control the efficient and effective running of the service, inspiring team members to deliver exceptional results
  • Utilize a hands-on approach while maintaining a strategic eye for business development and team growth
  • Work closely with other work streams to deliver events and experiences that exceed customer expectations
  • Oversee the standard and quality of all food and drink, ensuring that items leaving the kitchen meet the highest standards
  • Stay connected with customers to understand their needs and preferences
  • Ensure audit readiness and maintain the highest possible standards in finance, health and safety, and food safety
  • Conduct daily service briefings and drive a 'One Team' culture

Requirements

  • SCQF Level 8 minimum or equivalent cookery qualification
  • Exceptional leadership skills with core competencies around kitchen operational and service excellence, delivering a vision, personable leadership, and team engagement
  • Over 3 years' experience in a similar role in large-scale high-end catering and/or fast-casual food service outlets
  • IT literacy and excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Innovative qualities and the ability to take an active lead role within a dynamic team
  • Ability to identify and resolve issues and challenges to meet and exceed customer expectations
