Electrical Site Manager Job Description

Rubicon Consulting is seeking an experienced Electrical Site Manager to lead our construction projects near Aberdeen. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of electrical site activities, from pre-mobilisation to commissioning and demobilisation.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement site establishment schedules, ensuring timely and efficient project execution.
  2. Collaborate with the project team to execute the project in line with client procedures, including change management and quality control.
  3. Ensure all on-site personnel hold the necessary competencies for their tasks and maintain a safe working environment.
  4. Manage sub-contractor supervision, labour allocation, and equipment deliveries to ensure efficient productivity.
  5. Coordinate with other supervisors to ensure effective co-ordination between services and trades.
  6. Implement and enforce Health and Safety policies, including tool box talks, inductions, and safety briefings.
  7. Perform weekly EHS and QAQC audits to ensure compliance with company procedures.
  8. Ensure all systems are tested, demonstrated, and handed over to the client, and that all site safety devices are proved.
Requirements:
  1. Recognised Electrical apprenticeship/trade cert coupled with a minimum of 5 years Site Management experience.
  2. Experience in managing Electrical design and build projects in excess of €5 million.
  3. Possess strong computer abilities and a deep understanding of constructability of projects.
  4. Strong Commercial awareness and ability to work on own initiative and build and manage a team.
