Job Title: Clinical Specialist Occupational Therapist - Neurology and Stroke Rehabilitation

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Specialist Occupational Therapist to join our team in the Community Integrated Neurology and Stroke Service (CINSS). The successful candidate will provide expert clinical leadership and management of the Occupational Therapy team, working closely with other disciplines to deliver high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert clinical leadership and management of the Occupational Therapy team
  • Develop and implement clinical guidelines, pathways, and processes to improve patient care
  • Collaborate with other disciplines to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Manage a specialist clinical caseload and prioritize patient needs
  • Provide advanced clinical reasoning and advice to support effective care delivery
  • Lead and coordinate professional and personal development of team members
  • Participate in the formulation of Occupational Therapy and MDT operational policies

Requirements:

  • Extensive specialist clinical experience in Neurology and Stroke rehabilitation
  • Excellent leadership and management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other disciplines
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize patient needs and manage a specialist clinical caseload
