KMC Recruitment is seeking a skilled Plant Workshop Manager to oversee the operations and maintenance of our plant fleet, managing both workshop technicians and mobile fitters. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of all equipment, managing a team of technicians, and maintaining a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the workshop and all fleet maintenance activity, planning, assigning, and reviewing work to maximize productivity and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor inventory levels for spare parts and equipment.
  • Manage stock levels to ensure optimal availability.
  • Oversee, monitor, and drive engineering standards.
  • Liaise with the Depot Manager and Asset Manager to ensure maximum availability of fleet.
  • Perform ad hoc duties as required.
Requirements:
  • Proven people management skills.
  • Experience working with machinery and in a workshop environment.
  • Positive attitude.
  • Great attention to detail.
