Your Responsibilities

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to become a vital part of our interdisciplinary Engineering Team. The selected candidate will report to the Discipline Lead Engineer and will provide comprehensive mechanical engineering support for Government Services EMEA projects and proposals, with a special emphasis on water and fuel systems. This role encompasses delivering engineering insights and assistance for ongoing projects, including those related to operational fuel systems and combat water support.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the engineering components of projects from conception to completion, either by leading initiatives or collaborating within a team. Execute all standard aspects of mechanical engineering, including design and development, performing and verifying calculations, and preparing technical specifications and inquiries. Engage in research, consultations with manufacturers and constructors, and monitor performance outcomes. Support the development and execution of packaged equipment, primarily focusing on water treatment-related tasks. Conduct inspections on new equipment and prepare condition reports on equipment retrieved from deployment. Plan, participate in, and report on equipment/system integration trials. Create detailed specifications and scopes of work and review/report on suppliers' submissions. Supervise the integration of various equipment packages to ensure a cohesive and efficient system.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Essential:

A degree in Mechanical Engineering with 3-5 years of practical experience in mechanical engineering roles. Proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD software. Familiarity with 3D design software such as Solidworks and PDMS. Competent in engineering calculation software for HVAC, water supply, distribution, and drainage (e.g., Hevacomp/Bentley, Windes Micro drainage). Ability to obtain necessary Security Clearance.

Desirable:

Capability to work independently using initiative or collaboratively within a team. Knowledge of 3D design software such as Solidworks and PDMS. Previous experience in the Water Treatment sector.

This position is based full-time on-site.
