Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in North West England. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enabling individuals with learning disabilities to live fulfilling lives, promoting their independence, wellbeing, and choice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day care and support to individuals with learning disabilities, enabling them to live as independently as possible.
  • Support individuals with their personal care, including skin care, bathing, and dressing.
  • Assist with housekeeping duties, such as cooking, cleaning, and laundry.
  • Encourage individuals to participate in activities and engage with their communities.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and external professionals to ensure high-quality care and support.
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to service monitoring requirements.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
