Payroll Supervisor Job Description

At Armstrong Knight, we are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Supervisor to join our team. As a Payroll Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end payroll duties and related queries on software such as Moneysoft, Xero, and Sage.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with clients to accurately process their payrolls
  • Calculate and upload pensions
  • Process new starters, leavers, and changes to personal details
  • Maintain client files and respond to client queries within pre-agreed deadlines
  • Process all paperwork, including printing and posting payslips and P45s in line with client requirements
  • Set up new clients, including data validation, implementing system parameters, loading YTD data, and checking PAYE/NI/Pension calculations
  • Perform other ad hoc duties as required
Requirements:
  • At least 18 months of experience in a previous payroll position, preferably internal payroll bureau or Accountancy practice
  • Managed service experience
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Accountancy software experience (e.g. Sage/Xero) preferable
