Civil Engineer - Airfield Team Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join our Airfield Team as a Team Leader. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering civil engineering services across all RIBA work stages, working closely with our specialist airfield civils team on projects in the UK and abroad.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of civil engineers and technicians to deliver civil design projects at all RIBA stages
  • Develop and implement project plans, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery
  • Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality engineering solutions
  • Manage and mitigate project risks, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and partners to drive business growth and success

Requirements:

  • Chartered Civil Engineer with a degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
  • Proven experience in leading and managing civil engineering projects, with a strong track record of delivery
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Strong technical skills, with expertise in civil design, project management, and risk management
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work
