Key Responsibilities:


Depending on expertise, perform routine inspections, repairs, and maintenance of water and wastewater facilities to established internal quality benchmarks.

Deliver exceptional customer service while adhering to health and safety regulations, financial targets, key performance indicators, statutory obligations, quality standards, and contractual commitments.

Collaborate with the scheduling team and management to optimize productivity and operational efficiency.


Provide comprehensive daily feedback on job performance to identify subsequent tasks aimed at minimizing preventable failures related to water quality and environmental compliance.

Offer technical assistance to both clients and team members as needed.

Manage personal workloads to ensure maximum adaptability, productivity, and effective time management.

Engage in a variety of tasks as required, based on skills and capabilities.

For employees, this may encompass operations and maintenance activities, CFS testing, meter verification/installation, lifecycle projects, private pipe services, and general site upkeep, including tank inspections and cleaning, pipework installation and modifications, and remedial works for water compliance.

Uphold site standards to food-grade levels, particularly concerning water assets.

Assist with local operational incidents.

Participate in an on-call operational standby schedule.

Conduct operations and maintenance tasks at a Water Treatment facility capable of producing 5 mega liters per day.

Be prepared to work shifts, including late hours, weekends, and holidays.

Must be eligible for Ministry of Defence clearance.

Travel to various sites as necessary; all travel and expenses will be reimbursed.

Experience Required:
To excel in this role, candidates should possess:

Experience in the operation and maintenance of water and wastewater facilities.

Experience in minor civil works such as drainage, manholes, and water pumps.

Experience in plumbing installation and maintenance (where applicable).

Strong knowledge of health and safety practices.

Effective communication skills with clients and all colleagues.

Proficiency in using field IT on computers/smartphones.

A valid driver's license.

Self-motivation and physical fitness.

Strong communication abilities.

Adherence to organizational procedures.

Proficient written, numerical, and verbal skills.

A flexible approach to short-term changes in work arrangements.

Able to travel nationwide and stay overnight for training as required.

Evidence of determination and problem-solving capabilities.

Experience working independently or as part of a team.

A drive to achieve and maintain high standards in both aesthetics and product quality.

Qualifications:
Experience in operations and maintenance activities.

Experience with water/sewage facilities.

Ability to utilize safety equipment/tools.

Basic knowledge of risk assessment.

Preferred Qualifications:
Qualifications in water/sewage treatment - NVQ Level 2 or equivalent (if applicable).

Experience with 360 Extractor Ticket.

A background in farming.

EUSR Hygiene card.

Training in manual handling.

Confined space training (escape set or full BA).

Working at heights certification.
