REMOTE OPPORTUNITY
FULL-TIME POSITION
The IT department at Morgan is focused on enhancing our digital capabilities by establishing a sustainable IT framework that will support our business objectives for the future.
This initiative aims to provide reliable, up-to-date IT services that empower our workforce to generate business value while maintaining an environmentally friendly approach.
The global IT Operations team is tasked with ensuring that all IT services consistently meet the needs of our internal and external stakeholders. Our goal is to maximize the benefits derived from IT services while minimizing disruptions and managing costs effectively.
The IT Specialist will play a crucial role in project execution, working closely with project managers and solution architects to ensure deliverables are met within the defined parameters.
Key Responsibilities:
Essential Duties:
- Provide comprehensive technical support to end-users, ensuring effective communication throughout.
- Deliver second and third-line support, addressing issues promptly and keeping users informed.
- Collaborate on problem management and major incident resolution to identify root causes and implement solutions.
- Maintain and monitor services to ensure they are secure, up-to-date, and performing optimally.
- Support project objectives by understanding and addressing requirements in solution documentation.
- Contribute to project deliverables, including configurations and functional/technical designs.
- Facilitate user acceptance testing and ensure project alignment with business needs.
- Coordinate with operations for service introduction and ongoing support.
User Training and Documentation:
- Create and update user manuals and guides to assist end-users in navigating IT systems.
- Conduct training sessions to enhance technical skills among end-users and IT colleagues.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for service enhancement and improved user experience.
- Drive initiatives to implement changes that deliver measurable improvements.
Qualifications:
Experience & Background:
- A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
- Relevant Microsoft certifications are advantageous.
- ITIL v3 or higher certification is desirable.
Experience:
- Minimum of 4 years in IT support or a related role, with a focus on specific domains.
- Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in relevant technologies.
- Proficient in diagnosing and resolving domain-specific issues.
Competencies:
- Expertise in resolving technical issues related to hardware, software, and networks.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices.
- Proficiency in automation and scripting languages.
- Experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines.
