Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced DT Technician to join our team at a Science Specialist School in South West London. As a DT Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support and expertise in the design and production of various projects and activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support and expertise in the design and production of various projects and activities
  • Operate and maintain technical equipment, including laser cutters and other machinery
  • Assist in the development and implementation of new projects and activities
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to ensure the smooth operation of the DT department
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of a safe and healthy working environment

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications and experience in DT or a related field
  • Excellent technical skills and knowledge of design software and equipment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Valid Health and Safety Certificate
