We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our dynamic team at Options Resourcing Ltd. As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process and prepare invoices for payment, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Manage and resolve supplier account queries, providing excellent customer service and resolving issues promptly.
  • Reconcile supplier statements monthly, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Maintain and update supplier accounts, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Ensure compliance with VAT regulations, accurately applying VAT rates and codes.
  • Support the team in maintaining accurate and up-to-date accounts, providing assistance as needed.
Requirements:
  • GCSEs A-C in relevant subjects.
  • Proven experience in purchase ledger or accounts payable, with a strong understanding of financial transactions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to analyze and interpret financial data.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work accurately under pressure.
Preferred:
  • Experience in the construction or civil engineering sector, with knowledge of industry-specific regulations and requirements.
