About the Role

Apollo Home Healthcare Ltd is seeking a compassionate and committed Healthcare Assistant to join our team in Didsbury. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality one-to-one care to our service user, enabling them to live as independently as possible in their own home.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with all personal care needs, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Support with meal preparation and medication administration
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to our service user
  • Assist with mobility and transfers, including moving and handling
  • Monitor and report any changes in our service user's condition

Requirements

  • 3 months of previous care experience
  • Personal Care
  • Moving and Handling
  • Medication Administration
  • Driving licence

Desirable Qualifications

  • Spinal Injury Care
  • Knowledge of Autonomic Dysreflexia
  • Respiratory Care
  • Cough Assist
  • Ventilation Management
  • Catheter Care
  • Bowel Management

Working Hours

  • Days: 7:30am-6:30pm
  • Short Calls: 8:00am-2:00pm & 8:00am-12:00pm
  • 1x full Weekend per month

Pay Rates

  • Weekdays: £13.00-£14.00 per hour
  • Weekends: £14.00-£15.00 per hour
  • Bank Holidays: £18.00- £19.00 per hour
