Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Specialist Occupational Therapist/Physiotherapist to join our team as a Medical Fitness to Drive Assessor.
About the Role: As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for assessing individuals to determine their medical fitness to drive a car, their need for adapted controls, or their requirements while traveling as a passenger in a vehicle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine medical fitness to drive
- Develop and implement individualized plans to maximize service provision
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure safe and effective clinical practice
- Participate in quality and clinical governance initiatives
Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will require a strong clinical background, excellent assessment and reasoning skills, and the ability to work independently as an independent practitioner.
