About You
We are looking for a highly ambitious and motivated individual who is passionate about audit and has a strong desire to progress in their career. As an Audit Manager, you will have the opportunity to work closely with clients, building lasting relationships and making a real contribution to their business.
About the Job
In this role, you will be responsible for leading the onsite audit team, supervising more junior team members, and liaising with senior members of the client's finance team to ensure the assignment is completed as per the agreed terms. You will also be responsible for reviewing financial statements, preparing audit reporting, and attending planning and clearance meetings.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the onsite audit team and supervise more junior team members.
- Review financial statements and prepare audit reporting.
- Attend planning and clearance meetings.
- Ensure assurance quality at all times and compliance with the firm's procedures.
- Report to the assignment manager and liaise directly with the director/partner responsible for the engagement.
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders and identify any contentious issues.
Requirements
- Candidates must be ACA or ACCA qualified.
- Previous experience of carrying out audit-related tasks as requested by the Audit Manager.
- Proven experience in client handling.
- Proven experience in producing high-quality audits.
