About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Junior Financial Planning and Analysis Specialist to join our team at Page Personnel Finance. As a key member of our Accounting and Finance department, you will play a crucial role in supporting our business growth and success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive financial planning and analysis to inform business decisions
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting exercises to ensure accurate financial projections
  • Produce regular and ad-hoc reports for senior management to facilitate informed decision-making
  • Collaborate with various business units to understand financial needs and develop solutions
  • Participate in the development of new financial models to drive business growth
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
  • Support the finance team in any other related tasks to ensure seamless operations

Requirements

  • Highly numerate with strong analytical skills and experience in previous analyst roles
  • Studying or planning to study CIMA/ACCA/ACA (study support available)
  • Team player with excellent communication skills, capable of working within a team to deliver collective priorities
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-changing business environment
  • Proficient in Excel and experience with BI tools preferred (multi-dimension 'cube' reporting)
  • Curiosity to extract trends, understand key business drivers, and present financial information to non-financial stakeholders
  • Experience within the hospitality sector or multi-site retail preferred
  • A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, with a proactive approach to problem-solving
