Carpentry Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at Toolbaseltd. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and finishing structures and fixtures made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials.
Key Responsibilities- Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate execution of projects.
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other materials to create structures and fixtures.
- Install windows, doors, and cabinetry, and ensure proper fitting and finishing.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other construction professionals to ensure project success.
- Replace or repair damaged or defective parts, and maintain tools and equipment in good condition.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with building codes and safety standards.
- Blueprint reading and interpretation skills.
- Proficiency in woodworking techniques, including frame construction, precision measurement, and hand tool operation.
- Knowledge of safety practices and ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to estimate materials and costs, and provide guidance to apprentice carpenters when necessary.
