Team Supervisor

Overview of the Position:
Responsible for the operational management of a team, which includes overseeing staff performance, conducting appraisals, managing attendance, and ensuring adherence to both internal and external policies relevant to their roles. Organize staff schedules in collaboration with fellow managers to guarantee comprehensive service coverage. Participate in the management on-call schedule. Ensure high-quality service delivery through data evaluation and actively involving staff in planning for service quality enhancements. Facilitate, lead, and engage in team meetings that foster a culture of learning, disseminate information, and provide feedback channels for staff regarding service delivery and developments. Assist staff in enhancing service user outcomes through observed practices and delivering timely, values-driven feedback. Build and maintain essential relationships within the correctional environment, particularly those related to health and well-being initiatives. Contribute to the safety of both staff and service users by overseeing the implementation of health, safety, and security protocols in the workplace, along with conducting risk assessments.Candidate Profile:
Possess a degree or equivalent professional experience. Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills at all levels to engage, establish relationships, and influence effectively. Capable of leading, motivating, and developing a team. Flexible and able to thrive in a dynamic and challenging environment. Have a working knowledge of substance misuse issues and the ability to identify signs of escalating chaotic and risky substance use among service users. Experience in managing a diverse caseload of service users with complex needs. Proven experience in handling incidents involving challenging behavior. Background in culture and change management, staff engagement, and service enhancement.-
