Job Overview

We're seeking a seasoned Software Project Manager to lead medium to large-scale complex media projects globally for Christy Media Solutions, a software product manufacturer working with major broadcasters and media entertainment companies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary contact for medium to large complex software projects, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Develop and execute detailed project plans, system specifications, and technical configurations to meet customer requirements.
  • Participate in pre-sales activities, attend customer meetings, and provide technical guidance to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Manage project milestones, change control, and progress reporting to ensure timely completion and customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct technical configuration, UAT, training, and problem-solving to resolve complex issues and ensure project success.
  • Ensure successful project handovers and manage project-related defects to maintain high-quality standards.

Requirements:

  • Strong technical project management skills with a proven background in delivering large-scale software projects.
  • Knowledge of Agile Methodologies and experience with cloud technologies, MAM, graphics, subtitling, XSLT, BXF, and XML.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with high commercial awareness and effective time management.

Desirable:

  • Project management qualifications and experience of broadcast technology, playout, multiviewers.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft and Linux OS, and network-based systems.
  • Second language proficiency is a plus.

Working Arrangements:

  • 2/3 days per week in our Cambridge-based office.
  • Up to 30-40% travel globally for project meetings and customer engagements.
