Company Overview:
Join a reputable organization that specializes in facilities and estate management services, particularly within educational institutions.

Role Overview:
The primary focus of this position will be on our educational facilities management account, with potential assignments across various contracts.

Working Hours:
The standard working hours are 37.5 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct planned and preventative electrical maintenance.
  • Diagnose and replace faulty domestic electrical components.
  • Respond to breakdowns, ensuring all tasks are executed under the appropriate Safe System of Work and in a timely manner.
  • Engage in fault finding and problem-solving on domestic electrical systems.
  • Perform electrical installation tasks in accordance with provided designs and IET Wiring Regulations.
  • Test and inspect electrical installations following current IEE wiring regulations.
  • Monitor and manage critical spare parts for all electrical services.
  • Execute additional tasks as required by the site.

Health & Safety:
Ensure compliance with health and safety standards across the contract.

Unique Aspects of the Role:
This position offers the opportunity to test and inspect electrical installations in accordance with the 18th IEE wiring regulations, as updated periodically.
