About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Relief Chef to join our team at Elior UK. As a Relief Chef, you will be responsible for managing and supporting our catering team, creating a platform for financial growth through cost control and culinary excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Preparation and Execution: Prepare and cook daily menus, supporting the onsite team to deliver high-quality food to our customers.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain, order, and control food stocks within budget, ensuring that we have the necessary ingredients to meet customer demand.
  • Team Communication and Collaboration: Ensure ongoing team communications, including building internal and external relationships, management reporting, and client liaison to enable operational excellence.
  • Health and Safety: Accountable for COSHH, Food Safety, H&S, legal regulations, environmental policies, and duty of care to customers and colleagues.
Requirements
  • Leadership Experience: Proven leadership ability, with a strong track record of managing teams and driving results.
  • Culinary Expertise: Genuine interest in customer service excellence, with a strong understanding of culinary principles and practices.
  • Team Player: A strong team player, highly confident and positive, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Catering Experience: Catering experience with chef skills, with a strong understanding of contract catering and menu planning.
  • Senior Chef Management: Senior chef management experience essential, with a strong track record of managing kitchen operations and teams.
