We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Band 6 Specialist Nurse Practitioner to join our Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) team in Bradford. The successful candidate will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to provide expert care, treatment, and support to patients requiring biologic therapies.
Main Responsibilities- Manage IBD patients on biologic treatments, working within national and local guidelines.
- Work autonomously and alongside clinical colleagues to provide expert care, treatment, and support for this patient group.
- Play a key role within the multidisciplinary team to ensure a seamless, coordinated, and timely approach to care.
- Coordinate investigations, treatment, monitoring, and review of patients on biologic treatments.
- Liaise with all key members of the multidisciplinary team and service users related to the use of biologics therapy in IBD.
The IBD service in Bradford is a well-established, fast-paced, flexible, and dynamic team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a supportive environment, providing expert care to patients with IBD.
Requirements- Relevant clinical experience in IBD or biologics.
- Experience in policy development and innovative practice.
- Experience of working in an MDT and across organisational and professional boundaries.
- Computer literacy and ability to use Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge and understanding of the NHS national targets and priorities.
