About the Role:
Harte Consulting Ltd is seeking an experienced Lettings Manager to lead our thriving lettings team in Huddersfield. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and developing a portfolio of properties, building and maintaining strong relationships with landlords, tenants, and contractors, and ensuring all properties comply with legal requirements and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing and developing a portfolio of properties
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with landlords, tenants, and contractors
- Conducting property viewings, valuations, and inspections
- Negotiating lettings agreements and managing the tenancy process
- Ensuring all properties comply with legal requirements and regulations
- Handling customer inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
- Developing new business opportunities and expanding the lettings portfolio
- Leading, coaching, and mentoring a small team of lettings agents
- Working closely with other departments to ensure a seamless service to all clients
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar role within the lettings industry
- Strong knowledge of the local property market
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- A proactive and results-driven attitude
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work well under pressure
- Full UK driving license (essential)
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- A good understanding of property legislation and compliance requirements
What We Offer:
- Up to £28,000 basic salary per annum (DOE)
- Uncapped commission structure
- Car allowance (TBC)
- 22 days holiday + bank holidays
- 08:45-17:30 (1 hour lunch) + alternate Saturdays, with day off in lieu during the week
