The Business & Library Systems division is on the lookout for a skilled and innovative Library and Business Systems Consultant. This role is pivotal in delivering second-tier support, maintenance, and enhancement services for the institution's library and business software applications. As an essential member of the Business & Library Systems team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective, reliable, and efficient delivery of mission-critical enterprise applications.
Key Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in the support and upkeep of library and business applications, with a strong emphasis on library systems. You should demonstrate a proven track record in the successful identification, diagnosis, management, and resolution of application-related issues.
Qualifications and Skills
Candidates should hold a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) or exhibit significant experience in technical support. Essential skills and experience include:
- In-depth technical knowledge and hands-on experience with library systems.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with clients, vendors, and departmental colleagues.
- Strong problem-solving abilities coupled with a genuine desire to learn.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficiency in creating clear system, support, and process documentation.
