Medical Director - Clinical Development (Pulmonology/Respiratory)

ARO is partnering with a leading pharmaceutical company to advance their clinical development pipeline. We are seeking a Medical Director, Clinical Development to join their team and contribute to the development of new assets and the registration of existing compounds.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute clinical trial designs, protocols, and plans for Phase II and III clinical trials
  • Lead the design, conduct, analysis, and reporting of clinical studies, including submissions to regulatory authorities in the US and Europe
  • Provide clinical support on implementation teams, offering subject matter expertise, clinical science support, and functional representation
  • Interact with regulatory authorities, corporate partners, and investors to advance the company's clinical development goals
  • Contribute to the authorship and review process for scientific publications and presentations
  • Assist with scientific advisory board activities

Requirements:

  • Medical Doctor degree
  • Board Certification in Respiratory Medicine/Pulmonology (preferred)
  • 5+ years of industry experience in clinical development, with a focus on biotech or big pharma
  • Demonstrated leadership of multiple development projects and teams
  • Extensive experience in clinical trial design, conduct, analysis, and reporting
