An exciting opportunity has emerged for an Electrical Fitter to take on a pivotal role within the electrical division of a leading aerospace organization.


Position Overview:
As an Electrical Fitter, you will be tasked with executing manufacturing and testing activities in alignment with established product certification protocols, defined quality standards, and project timelines to achieve key objectives.
Compensation:
Competitive pay rate of £27.37 per hour via umbrella, increasing to £28.71 per hour after a specified period.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure product compliance with certification procedures.
  • Exhibit the capability and readiness to certify personal work in accordance with organizational quality benchmarks.
  • Maintain product certification through regular audits and assessments.
  • Demonstrate a diverse skill set applicable across various tasks.
  • Be proficient with all tools, equipment, and measuring devices relevant to the manufacturing process.
  • Adhere to manufacturing timelines for build, inspection, and testing.
  • Complete all documentation associated with the manufacturing data pack accurately.
  • Uphold the highest standards of workmanship and product quality.
  • Ensure adherence to all procedures related to the manufacturing process.
  • Foster a safe working environment and uphold good housekeeping practices.
  • Contribute to ongoing process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:
  • Completion of a formal technical engineering or craft apprenticeship to NVQ Level 3/TR23/TR21.
  • Possession of a formal further education certificate to HNC or equivalent.
  • IPC 610 certification or training is preferred.
  • Experience in electrical wiring and assembly is essential.
  • Previous exposure to the aerospace or defense sectors is advantageous.
  • Training in manual handling, lifting and slinging (including overhead cranes), and ESD is required.

This role also includes an accommodation allowance for candidates traveling from significant distances, subject to receipt verification.
