Key Responsibilities- Manage a small team of technical professionals to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Oversee the development process, securing grid connections, and preparing and monitoring planning stages for utility-scale solar PV and BESS projects.
- Challenging grid offers to deliver the most cost-effective solution and liaising with Independent Distribution Network Operators (iDNOs).
- Managing workflow to deliver sites to Ready to Build (RTB) stage and supporting the preparation of commercial reviews of project headline characteristics.
- Prepare and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources.
- Coordinate internally with colleagues to ensure smooth delivery of key milestones.
- Manage relationships with grid operators, outsourced contacts, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Preferably a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical management within the renewable energy sector, with a focus on solar PV and BESS.
- Strong knowledge of electrical design and simulation software, such as AutoCAD.
- In-depth understanding of electrical codes, standards, and regulations related to solar PV and BESS.
- Excellent commercial management skills, including planning, budgeting, and scheduling.
