Platform Recruitment is collaborating with a forward-thinking scientific and engineering organization. They are seeking to appoint a Bill of Materials Specialist to enhance their team. The successful candidate will ensure a high degree of precision in all Bills of Materials (BOMs) and oversee the engineering components of the change management process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing current BOMs to meet established standards
  • Developing BOMs for new products and variations of existing offerings
  • Overseeing new and existing item master data
  • Conducting regular audits of current BOMs to ensure alignment with work instructions

Essential Skills:
  • Proficiency in understanding BOMs is essential
  • Familiarity with change management and New Product Introduction (NPI) processes
  • Experience in the manufacturing industry is required
  • Knowledge of MS Dynamics NAV or a comparable system is crucial

Compensation and Work Environment:
  • Salary for this role ranges from £37,000 to £47,000, based on experience
  • This position requires on-site presence in West Oxfordshire
  • Standard working hours are from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday
