About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Surveyor to join our team at BYLOR Joint Venture. As a Surveyor, you will play a critical role in supporting the engineering team through all phases of the construction project.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake land / topographic and engineering surveys, using a variety of specialist equipment and technology, such as robotics and 3D scanners.
  • Set out and implement new technology and precision instrumentation.
  • Analyse data using plans, maps, charts and software such as AutoCAD, Civils3D, Leica Survey Software.
  • Prepare survey drawings and present data to clients and write reports.
  • Advise on technical matters and work both on site and in an office as required.
Requirements
  • 2 years + experience in a similar role.
  • Specialist land surveying skills.
  • Experience of large Infrastructure projects.
  • Knowledge of and experience in reinforced concrete is a must.
  • Must have experience in the use of an EDM/Total Station.

Education & Qualifications
  • Degree in Geomatics /Engineering Surveying (Desirable but not essential).
  • ICES/RICS (Desirable but not essential).
  • Technical Qualifications (NVQ/HNC etc).
