Position Overview

We are excited to announce a new role within our Facilities division for an EHSS and Event Services Specialist.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the safety and efficiency of all permanent EHSS, Soft Services, and Event assets in compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Oversee the safety and operational efficiency of temporary and event-related EHSS, Soft Services, and Event assets.
  • Maintain the asset care register, ensuring all details are accurately recorded post-maintenance.
  • Continuously enhance the availability and reliability of equipment.
  • Adhere to the Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) schedules.
  • Manage the inventory of critical spare parts.
  • Maintain cleanliness and order in the facility, including event spaces, and execute necessary repairs or modifications.
  • Respond to equipment failures and conduct fault diagnosis to restore functionality, employing root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
  • Ensure that TPM and PPM systems are accurate and current.
  • Conduct scheduled maintenance and servicing as planned.
  • Identify and develop a key inventory of spare parts to minimize equipment downtime.
  • Oversee budgets related to spare parts and services.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members on overlapping tasks.
  • Work independently or as part of a team, demonstrating proactivity, responsibility, and professionalism while adhering to the company's reporting structure.
  • Perform any additional duties as reasonably requested in alignment with your role.

Required Skills and Knowledge:

  • Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Highly organized with strong analytical skills.
  • Familiarity with workshop health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Ability to interpret machine OEM manuals and technical documents into practical applications.
  • Previous experience in a maintenance engineering role or similar capacity.
  • A collaborative team player who is self-motivated and inspires others in a challenging environment.
  • Ability to work calmly and confidently under pressure to meet tight deadlines and deliver results.
  • Effective communication skills, fostering positive and respectful interactions with colleagues.
  • A flexible mindset and the ability to work as part of a team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Results-oriented with strong decision-making capabilities.
  • Enthusiastic and adaptable, capable of building and maintaining strong working relationships with team members.
