Senior Engineer (Civil/Structural) Opportunity

COWI is seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer (Civil/Structural) to join our team in Derby. As a key member of our Engineering team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the landscape of prestigious UK infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop feasibility and options reports for civil engineering projects
  • Design and complete designs for a range of civil engineering structures, including below ground structures and foundations
  • Prepare work for CAD Technicians and supervise Graduate Engineers
  • Conduct site surveys and appraisals of various rail, water, and/or utilities infrastructure schemes
  • Liaise with clients, attend meetings, and provide design review
  • Manage projects, including cost and commercial aspects
  • Assist in the production of pre-qualification documents, tenders, and fee proposals
Your Skills:
  • Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or similar
  • Chartered in ICE or IStructE or equivalent institution
  • Experience in below ground structures and foundation skills
  • Technically skilled engineer with deep understanding of structural engineering
  • Knowledge of UK design standards, Eurocodes, and CDM regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Full UK driving licence
