Job Title: Pharmacy Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacy Manager to lead our pharmacy team. As a Pharmacy Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy, including managing staff, overseeing dispensing and clinical services, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and develop a team of pharmacists and support staff to deliver high-quality patient care and services.
  • Oversee the dispensing and clinical services, including the management of prescription processing and payment models.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including registration with the PSNI and accreditation in all commissioned pharmacy services.
  • Develop and implement business strategies to drive growth and profitability, including the development of new services and partnerships.
  • Manage the pharmacy's budget and resources to ensure efficient and effective use of resources.
Requirements
  • Registration with the PSNI or eligibility to be registered.
  • Accreditation in all commissioned pharmacy services or willingness to undertake training deemed necessary for the post.
  • IT literacy with email, Excel, and Word.
  • Knowledge of the prescription processing and payment model in NI.
