Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing timely and accurate monthly management accounts and year-end audited accounts

  • Monitoring and analysing performance and budgets, generating and following up on financial reports to provide insights and recommendations for business improvement

  • Supporting with budgeting and forecasting, including profit & loss and cash flow
    \t
  • Maintaining accurate, up-to-date financial records, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and internal policies


Requirements:

  • AAT qualified or above, with experience in a similar role within a busy finance function

  • Expertise in financial reporting, analysis, and compliance, with exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
    \t
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels
    \t
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills, with the ability to work under own initiative to deliver what's needed, when it's needed
    \t
  • Accuracy and attention to detail are critical
    \t
  • Microsoft Excel skills and experience of working with key accounting systems such as Sage would be great
