Clinical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Engineer to join our team at MTW, a large acute hospital trust in the south-east of England. As a Clinical Engineer, you will play a critical role in providing specialized clinical technical services for preventative maintenance, servicing, inspection, and repair to a wide range of complex and patient-critical medical devices and laboratory equipment.
Main Responsibilities- Provide expert technical services for the commissioning, maintenance, calibration, and repair of medical devices and equipment.
- Carry out quality control, safety, commissioning, and acceptance testing to ensure the highest standards of patient care.
- Mentor junior engineers and represent Clinical Engineering in Trust projects.
- Ordinary National Certificate in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of post-qualification experience in electronic and medical engineering workshop practices and techniques.
- Ability to deliver teaching and training on complex equipment to other professional groups.
