Waste Management Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Waste Management Specialist to join our team at Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of waste management and procurement across our estate.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective waste management strategies to minimize waste and maximize recycling.
- Manage contracts with waste management providers to ensure compliance with statutory regulations and best practices.
- Provide technical advice and guidance to colleagues on waste management and sustainability best practices.
- Lead on waste reduction and recycling initiatives across the trust, engaging stakeholders at all levels.
- Develop and implement business cases for waste management initiatives and funding applications.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to waste management and sustainability.
