Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Serve and issue stock to both internal and external customers, adhering to our high standards of quality and service.
  • Stock Receipt and Storage: Receive, correctly identify, and warehouse incoming stock, ensuring accurate inventory levels and advising management of any discrepancies.
  • Housekeeping and Organization: Maintain best practice housekeeping standards for both stores and retail sections of the Parts Department, ensuring a clean and efficient working environment.
  • Customer Service: Promote and communicate with customers, ensuring they receive excellent service and are informed about our products and services.
  • Annual Stock Check: Participate in the annual formal stock check, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company procedures.
Requirements
  • Experience: Previous experience as a Parts Advisor within the motor industry, with a strong understanding of inventory management and customer service principles.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Self-Motivation: Self-motivated and proactive, with a strong work ethic and ability to work independently.
  • IT Literacy: Proficient in using IT systems and software, with a strong understanding of inventory management software.
  • Attention to Detail: Good head for numbers and ability to remember codes, with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Benefits
  • Competitive Salary: £26,769 + OTE of £28,000.
  • Working Hours: Minimum of 45 hours per week, worked on a rota basis covering business hours of Monday to Friday from 7.45 a.m. to 6.00 p.m., with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. 1 in 3 Saturdays from 8.30 a.m. to 1.00 p.m.
