Key Responsibilities:- Provide individual and group support to students with a range of special educational needs in KS1.
- Collaborate with class teachers and the SENCO to create and implement tailored learning plans.
- Support students with their academic, social, and emotional development.
- Monitor and track the progress of SEN students, reporting findings to the teaching staff.
- Assist with classroom management and ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Adhere to school policies and procedures related to SEN support and safeguarding.
- A Level 2 or higher Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
- Experience working with children in an educational setting, preferably in KS1.
- An understanding of various special educational needs and strategies to support them.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with SEN students.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
