Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of Discipline Engineers and Project Support Specialists to ensure adherence to project assurance protocols. Your main duties will include:
  • Overseeing multi-disciplinary teams throughout the project lifecycle, from initial scouting to FEED and execution.
  • Ensuring compliance with both company standards and UK legislative requirements.

Challenges Ahead
This role demands a comprehensive technical understanding of engineering technologies utilized in high-risk process facilities. Key challenges include:
  • Leading engineers, designers, and project staff effectively.
  • Managing multiple project activities while maintaining a strong customer focus.
  • Making timely decisions and demonstrating effective leadership.

Qualifications and Experience
The ideal candidate will possess:
  • A degree in Engineering, along with Chartered Engineer status or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 10 years of post-graduate experience in the field.
  • A high level of safety awareness and extensive knowledge of UK legislation and standards related to project delivery.
  • Proficiency in Oil & Gas or Chemical Manufacturing processes, including safety protocols and systems.
