Postdoctoral Research Associate

We are seeking two highly skilled and experienced postdoctoral research fellows to join our team at the University of Stirling. As a research fellow, you will play a key role in contributing to the Horizon Europe project WAGE, focusing on healthy working environments for all ages.
Key Responsibilities- Produce a detailed report on all policy instruments relevant to the project, including health and safety guidance and regulation.
- Map the organisations or governments responsible for the design and delivery of policy.
- Design an engagement report based on this map of the policy system.
- Contribute to the engagement strategies of a wider 'cluster' of Horizon projects (WISEWORK-C).
- There may also be scope to conduct direct research on the working practices of partner organisations.
- PhD in Politics or a relevant discipline (or near completion).
- A record of research in public policy or policymaking.
- Demonstrable knowledge of public policy and policymaking research.
- Evidence of good administrative and project management skills.
- Evidence of collaborative research with other institutions and interdisciplinary work.
- Evidence or knowledge of the Higher Education context and regulatory framework.
- A track record of published research on multi-level policymaking in the EU (or UK).
- Proficiency in project-relevant languages (Polish, Portuguese, or Spanish).
- Previous experience of working in a research team, especially an interdisciplinary one.
