Pastry Sous Chef Opportunity at Hi-Rise Bread Co.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pastry Sous Chef to join our team at Hi-Rise Bread Co. As a key member of our pastry department, you will be responsible for managing the production of a variety of baked goods, including quickbreads, pastries, cookies, and tarts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement new pastry recipes and products
  • Manage and maintain a safe and clean work environment
  • Supervise a small pastry team and provide guidance and support as needed
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless execution of kitchen operations
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in pastry production
Requirements:
  • 2-3 years of professional pastry experience in a restaurant or bakery setting
  • Strong knowledge of pastry production and management principles
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment
