Job Summary: H&G Recruitment Solutions is seeking experienced Class 1 HGV Tramper Drivers to join our team. As a Tramper Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations across the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive HGV Class 1 trucks safely and efficiently
- Carry out general haulage duties to UK ports and distribution centers
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with road regulations
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and safety concerns before and after trips
- Maintain accurate driving logs and ensure compliance with road regulations
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1-year experience as an HGV Class 1 driver
- Maximum of 6 points on your license
- Ideal candidate will have a valid RHIDES card
- Ability to drive HGV trucks safely and efficiently
- Excellent knowledge of road safety regulations
- Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented approach
- Good physical condition to load and unload cargo
