Oracle Developer Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Developer to join our team at Deerfoot IT Resources Limited. As an Oracle Developer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining Oracle-based applications and databases.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain Oracle Databases using PLSQL and SQL to add new features and maintain and support existing systems with an emphasis on performant, robust code
  • Optimise and tune SQL queries for performance and scalability
  • Support the technical planning, execution, and delivery of software development projects
  • Translate business requirements into deliverable technical specifications
Requirements:
  • Oracle Apex experience
  • Experience in software development processes, tools, and methodologies to improve performance and maintainability
  • Experience of application support processes and 3rd party application support management
  • Experience of application development processes e.g. MS Azure DevOps
