Location: Hull

Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 per annum + package

Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Group Projects Design Manager to join a leading organization responsible for the delivery of major infrastructure projects across the UK. This role offers the opportunity to manage the technical delivery of significant capital projects within a dynamic, growth-focused environment.

The successful candidate will lead the asset workstream on major infrastructure development projects ranging from £20 million to £150 million, while contributing to the company's long-term growth and value optimization.

  • Serve as the Asset Lead: Define scope and manage the delivery of key technical work packages.
  • Develop and Implement Resourcing Plans: Leverage regional resources and utilize the Group Professional Services Framework (GPSF).
  • Oversee Consultant and Contractor Deliverables: Ensure robust technical approaches and the achievement of key project outputs.
  • Lead Procurement Activities: Prepare tender documents, manage tender reviews, and support contract awards.
  • Coordinate Asset Workstream Outputs: Establish project requirements, including scheduling, cost planning, and risk management.
  • Collaborate with Project Development Managers: Define asset scope, including customer and operational requirements.
  • Identify and Manage Project Risks: Ensure timely and successful delivery.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Proven track record in technical project delivery, with a focus on maximizing project value.
  • Experience with infrastructure projects in a port or supply chain-related industrial environment.

Ideal Skills & Experience:

  • Experience managing capital infrastructure projects valued at £20 million and above.
  • 5+ years of post-graduate experience in technical project delivery.
  • Client-side experience in managing major infrastructure projects.
