About the Role

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Primary Teacher to join our team as a KS2 Cover Teacher. As a Cover Teacher, you will be responsible for covering classrooms, PPA, and working with small groups in a variety of primary schools in the Whitby area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach KS2 classes on a day-to-day, short-term, or long-term basis
  • Cover classrooms and PPA for absent teachers
  • Work with small groups to support students' learning
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans
  • Assess and report student progress
Requirements
  • Qualified Teaching Status (QTS)
  • At least 2 years' experience of teaching pupils in a primary school setting
  • Confidence in covering and teaching a full classroom
  • Good knowledge of the EYFS/KS1 or KS2 curriculum
  • Current DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for a new one
