We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Engineer to join our team at London Gatwick Airport. As a key member of our construction team, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of complex projects across the airport.
Key Responsibilities- Manage construction management resources to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Develop and implement site safety engagement strategies to promote a positive Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) culture.
- Review contractor CDM and quality submittals to ensure compliance with airport standards.
- Inspect work to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate with electrical and mechanical engineering colleagues to ensure all works are installed to plan.
- Educated to Degree level or equivalent in Building Services, Electrical, or Mechanical engineering.
- Experience in significant mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and heating projects.
- Understanding of the importance of controlling and managing the project close-out and handover process.
- Experience as a Senior Field Engineer or Section Engineer managing complex multi-year and £multi-million projects.
- Understanding of handover and closeout of projects.
- Experience in addressing HSE issues associated with construction.
- Understanding and knowledge of quality management.
