Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Infrastructure Engineer to join our team at MASS Consultants. As a key member of our Digital Services Group, you will play a critical role in supporting both internal and external projects, providing network support and 3rd line support for wired and wireless network technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide network support and troubleshooting for internal and external users at all layers of the OSI model
  • Offer 3rd line support for wired and wireless network technologies
  • Collaborate with our IT Team Lead and small team of IT network and infrastructure engineers to deliver projects and support
  • Work closely with customers to understand their network requirements and provide solutions
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest network technologies and best practices

Requirements

  • Experience with Cisco IOS routing and switching
  • Experience with Layer 7 firewall appliances such as Fortinet, Palo Alto, Firepower
  • Experience with Windows Server, network protocols such as TCP/IP, and backup technologies
  • Demonstrable experience in maintaining complex network features, including GRE tunnels, cryptography, VOIP, NTP, NPS, RADIUS, and TACACS
  • Windows operating system exposure and common Microsoft products such as Exchange and SQL Server
  • Performance monitoring tools using WMI, SNMP, and API integrations

Desirable Skills

  • OS exposure such as Linux operating system experience
  • Working knowledge of the Jira Service Management ITSM tool
  • Understanding of government security classifications
