About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Operations Manager to join our team at Reed Property & Construction. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our properties, ensuring that all facilities are maintained to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate the activities of contractors and suppliers to ensure that all facilities are maintained and repaired in a timely and efficient manner.
- Develop and implement effective maintenance and repair strategies to minimize downtime and ensure that all facilities are operational at all times.
- Conduct regular site visits to inspect facilities and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with our property management team to ensure that all facilities are managed in accordance with our company's policies and procedures.
- Develop and manage budgets for maintenance and repair projects.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and standards.
- Manage and maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in facilities management, maintenance, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of maintenance and repair strategies and techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred.
